Blinky Bill stories are about a mischievous little Koala, and his family and anmal friends living in Australia. Wall includes conservation messages throughout the plot line, and Blinky's antics keep you absorbed wondering what will happen next. New Zealand-born Australian author Dorothy Wall.first illustrated Blinky for Brooke Nicholls' 1933 book, Jacko - the Broadcasting Kookaburra, which was illustrated by Wall. Wall then featured Blinky Bill in a series of her own books, including Blinky Bill: The Quaint Little Australian, Blinky Bill Grows Up, and Blinky Bill and Nutsy.
